I saw Johnny in London that afternoon when on my way to Swansea to play for the N.Z. Services team against South Wales. | David Bain Navigator. | Dave Luxton Bomb Aimer."
As this crew is in front of a Stirling, this places the photo at RAF Station Oakington; the squadron converted to Lancasters in late 1943. The three mentioned above are the three RNZAF in this crew. All were lost on the night of 24-25 March 1944.
