    Rearming and refueling a No. 17 Squadron (formerly No. 15 Squadron) Kittyhawk. The pilot sitting on cockpit is Squadron Leader PGH Newton DFC. Air defence exercise at RNZAF Station Seagrove. Note: When No. 15 Squadron left for overseas duty, No. 17 Squadron took charge of the aircraft and the aircraft codes were left unchanged. Note also the wind-breaker being worn the member of ground staff adjusting the cockpit canopy still has 15F [15 Fighter Squadron] painted on it.
